How much weight loss a week is good?

It has been widely accepted that 1-2 pounds a week lost is as efficient as you can get without losing muscle along with the fat. People always talk about “weight loss” and say they lose 6-7 pounds a week with this new diet…unless you are really overweight and have a lot of water weight to lose then that is not healthy! This is fitness models and body builders’ secret, losing fat slowly instead of losing overall weight and mass quickly, remember we want to lose fat not fat and muscle!
